seach warrants

when a search warrant is issued and has specific autos and buildings itemized on it do they have the right to enter and search say a trailer that is not specified in the document. this trailer was basically the only building not mentioned in the warrant. they reported the barn and old shed on the warrant but the trailer wich was even registered to the said criminal named in the search warrant was not even mentioned. i was thinking maybe the right for them to enter it then was null and void.?

Ordinarily, a warrant only permits officers to search the premises it describes. There are, however, a variety of reasons why it might have been proper for the officers to search the trailer. I would need to know more about the facts before I could say whether their search was improper and whether any evidence they found as a result should be excluded.
