I was arrested for assault with intent to commit rape, and (m) battery in ca.
Days after my preliminary hearing my attorney asked me to meet him at the court house. He and the assistant DA along with a jugde met. My attorney came out later and said my case had been dismissed. Now that it has been dismissed how do I,or can I get my records sealed and distroyed. It has been over three years since the dismissel.

The record of your arrest cannot, as stated by the paralegal in the Norwich law office has stated. The relief would be to obtain a determination of factual innocence. However, the mere fact of an arrest should not be a major problem as this information generally have to be reported for employment and license applications. An arrest by itself merely shows that you were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
