How can I get a copy of a search warrant, or find out if a valid search warrant exists?

You find out about the existence of a search warrant at 5 A.M. when they break down your door. If you survive the encounter, and you are thereafter criminally charged, your lawyer can obtain a copy of the warrant, the supporting affidavit (which is supposed to set forth the reasons for issuing the warrant and a description of the places to be searched and the persons and things to be seized), and the return of the warrant which is supposed to inform the court of what/who was actually seized.
