Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I'm a seller on eBay/Amazon and sold a bunch of things before Christmas. I went away for the holidays for a long vacation, and I don't know how I missed it but a few items that were confirmed and meant to be shipped out didn't go out. I've come back and just discovered this and done what I can to fix it, but I already find that one person has filed a credit card chargeback and complained stating that she has contacted the Postmaster General of her State to file a USPS mail fraud case and take legal action. I'm extremely concerned now, how often does the Postmaster General take legal action and what might happen here?

Maybe the buyer was over-the-top, but what were you thinking by 1) going away on vacation while you needed to ship eBay items and 2) not communicating any of this to the buyers? I doubt that the postmaster will do anything. Keep doing what you can to fix the situation.
