Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My Senior Grandmother wants to request that her habitual criminal grandson be restricted from
living within 20 miles from her., is this possible??

Almost certainly not. If she can show that he is threatening and/or harassing her she can get a restraining order against him, but the restriction you describe is too much. A restraining order can make the other grandson keep his distance, but the distance will be measured in hundreds of yards rather than tend of miles.
