Re: Sentace for Grand Theft Auto
There are many factors involved in sentencing i.e., priors, mitigating circumstances, violating an existing parol or probation, and the ever popular, "did you piss the D.A. and/or judge off." All these plus other factors go into whether you are sentenced to serve your time concurrently or consecutively.
So lets say if your sentence exposure is 18 months on one count. You may have much more than that under a 2nd Strike or 3rd Strike.
So without knowing a lot more about your case it would be a pure guess to tell you what your exposure is. Are you the guy that took my car? Sorry about that, it's my sense of humor pops up sometimes. The guy that took my car was an escaping murderer.

Jail time all depends on whether or not you have any priors, probation violation or parole violations. There may be mitigating factors involved in your case so that would also need to be researched. There are also more conservative jurisdictions than others. These are all variables that need to be placed into the equation before an answer can be given.
