Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I was served a subpoena to be a witness in a criminal case i am aware that i must show up for court but do i have to testify

typically that is why they would want you there ... however it may be to produce records or other ... either way as Mr. Mandell says, it depends on why you are being subpoenaed and whether you will have to testify. You may want to hire your own counsel. Good luck!

If you do not want to testify you need to talk to an attorney and explain all of the facts to the attorney
