I was caught soliciting a prostitute,although i was not exposed to the officer,he wrote on the citation lewd.i did not denie this.i was aressted and released

You need to discuss the facts of your case with an attorney. Some misdemeanor sex crimes require the convicted party to register as a sex offender. This requirement can carry serious consequeces in the future, even though the present consequences appear to be minimal.

Lewd conduct doesn't require exposing yourself. Depending upon the exact charges, you may be required to attend counseling, or submit to an HIV test, or register as a sex offender. A second time offense also carries a mandatory minimum of 90 days in jail.
