Re: Sex with Minor

Only the state of california can charge him with a crime. The girls parents can put pressure on the da to proceed with charging him with a crime. He should not discuss this matter with anyone except his attorney. This includes family as well as friends.

Re: Sex with Minor

You seem to think there is some question about whether your friend will be prosecuted. There really isn't, especially if the young woman's parents push for it.

The best advice would have been not to have sex with a minor, and the best preparation would have been a cold shower before every date. Now all he can do is find a good defense attorney and hope the D.A. is willing to offer him a deal.
