sex offender rights while on parole
my brothers parole officer has forced him to sign something stating he cannot see his biological son, is this legal? my brother has a lawyer for family court and was/is trying to custody of his son back. the sex offender charges have nothing to do or involvement of his son. his parole officer is not being helpfull, it seems more like he is working against my brother and trying to send him back to prison. when i say he forced my brother to sign the paper that says he cannot see his son. my brother went in for his normal visit with his parole officer, the parole officer gave my brother the paper he read it and said no he would not sign it his parole officer said that he was arresting him and put him in a holding tank until a couple hours later and than said you can sign this or go to prison for five years! my brother signed

There are family law codes that prohibit sex offenders having custody of a minor.
