Is a registered sex offender allowed to live with a child under the age of 18? Do they have to place a sign in the window warning children to stay away?

No, a sign does not have to be posted in the window, but local law enforcement must be notified per registration procedures. Whether or not the person can live with someone under 18 depends on the particular requirements of his probation/parole and registration.
