Sexual Abuse
My spouse was sexually abused as a child. I am trying to find out the statute of limitations of sexual abuse in California. Thank you for your help.

The criminal and civil statute of limitations is very long for child sexual abuse. However, for the sake of argument lets say it's passed. Then this person is still at it. And right now he is continuing to abuse someone. Your wife can stop it. The statute probably hasn't passed, and all you need to do is call the police and report it. Let's build a history so that even if your wife's case isn't prosecutable his next, followed by his next, followed by his next victim can be identified and he can be prosecuted.
