Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
This is quite silly, but I was just wondering. If someone went to a store and asked "Can I have all the money in the cash register" or something along those lines, not demanding or threatening, but just asking. And the cashier were to think it was a robbery and gave all the money to the person. Would the person who asked get in trouble or would the cashier, for giving the stores money away? I was just wondering.

You wouldn't want to test the law and law enforcement. If police can arrest a man for breaking into his own home, you can assume that the response to your request might be excessive.

I decline to assist anyone in trying to discover a way to rob people and be immune from prosecution, (assuming there were a way).
