Is having similar car damage to that of a car in a crime enough to be convicted of a crime??

Your question is way too vague to answer. The prosecution must prove any charge beyond a reasonable doubt. If the evidence that identifies the potential suspect is matching damage to a car, is it enough?
That's for a jury to decide, but not based on just that one piece of evidence - based on the entire case.

It depends on how similar the damage is.
