Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Someone's been harrasing me over 2years. (I know them, I just don't know where they live/exact address)
Haarassing and threatening me by Email/phone Call/Text. I did change my#/email right away.
however they know my real name and home address. they've been harrasing me by online. Using multipul fake name accounts on social net working, posting my Real name and current address, saying nothing true.
I report website to take posting down about me everytime when I find it. Even they take it down, there is always new one comes up with different name/account, keep harrasing me.
They don't leave me alone!!

Notifying the police is your best bet. I would go in person after collecting all the information you can. If you have enough information and the police take a report, after their investigation, they may turn it over to the DA's office and recommend the filing of criminal charges. The DA's office may take their recommendation. The DA's office has the ultimate authority on what charges to file, if any, and law enforcement is the channel to take to get the information in front of the DA for review. Good luck!
You can file for a restraining order but first you will need an exact address to serve them at. A private investigator may be able to help you with this. You will also need strong evidence that the person is actually harassing you. I suspect the person is not putting their name on the web sites. This will make it difficult. Again you might talk to a private investigator but it may be difficult getting solid proof.
