Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My son was hit in the face 4 times by someone they are both adults, there were no witnesses, the other person has no injuries but my son suffered a broken nose and an eye injury will the DA throw this case out due to no witnessess

not likely, there are often no eye-witnesses and eye-witness testimony is inherently unreliable in many cases. They may not file if they don't believe your son, but they wouldn't file soley because there was not a witness. In other words, if the police and DA believe it happened as you say, i.e., that your son was the victim (not e.g. the aggressor and the other party was justified in defending themselves) there would be no reason I know of to not file charges, as long as they can identify the other party. Good luck!
