Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My son is currently incarcerated. He went to court on a child support case. Unrelated to why he is in jail. When down at the courthouse, they took him in and rebooked him and took fingerprints again. Don't understand why? Or what's going on? They wouldn't give him an answer when he asked.

It is impossible to determine what is going on from the facts you have supplied. It sounds like there was another warrant for his arrest and he was picked up on another charge. However, without more information it is impossible to determine. You might be able to go online and find out. Some of the Sheriff's websites will list the arrests and why on the website.
Good luck
