Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

My son and other kid were arrested for traspassing, the other kid took $105 from a drawer, the city newspapar put an add and my son's name was printed in the paper, the other kid was just mentioned as a minor, can they legally do thi, doesnt the name have to reamin annonimus? he has not even been coonvicted or anything, what can I do if anything?

I do not believe there is any law prohibiting the publication of a minor's name. (You did not mention whether son is a minor.) The choice of whether to publish a minor's name is that of the newspaper.

Is your son a minor? Regardless, he will need to obtain the services of a defense attorney. If you cannot afford one, you can ask the court to appoint one for him.
