Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I spoke to and officer who said that if I didn't press charges on my nieces boyfriend she is 17 he is 20 then there was no problem. Is that true?

Stop talking to police officers. Teach the kids not to say one word to police officers, on this or any other subject. The nurse at the hospital is a mandated reporter. So is your doctor, clergyman, goodness knows who else. Even if the police and district attorney don't become involved there is also the DCS, and you REALLY don't want them in your lives.
