Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

i was standing in my yard and a cop drove by and stopped and told me to sit down and then found out i was on parole and called for a dog to come smell for drugs in my house and then 10 cops came and searched my house and made my girlfriend and mom come out of the house while they searched my bedroom and my moms house and the only thing they found was a bottle of vicodin perscribed to someone else. My girlfriend is going to go to court and say they were hers. We both do not know where the pills came. I do take phych meds and have a lot of them. I have been on parole for a little over 20 years and I am supposed to be off of parole in 8 months. What do you think will happen?

Before going to court both you and your girlfriend should consult with your own attorney. Your parole status puts you at risk. Even if your girlfriend claims that the pills are hers you can be violated for possession. Possession requires that you have access to the pills. Thus if the pills were found in your room you could be found to have possession. The result of your proposed course of conduct could result in both of you going to prison.
