I am in central Iowa and the answer is, probably, not much. Once you have been sentenced your custody is in the department of corrections and they determine the conditions of your parole and release.

You can file a motion to reconsider sentence-did you do that? Additionally, you can file a motion to modify terms of sentence-you may or may not get a hearing.

There is another issue that you may not have considered, and that is if California is willing to accept you and exercise supervision. The fact that you are on intensive supervision may give them pause.

I'm in the neighborhood-drop me an email and let's chat. Include in your email your correct name and the county your case was in, and I can do some preliminary looking.

This question should be addressed to an attorney in Iowa. Unless your parol in transferred to California leaving the state would result in a warrant for your arrest. You would then risk being arrested and taken back to Iowa to finish your sentence.
