state to state probation transfer
I would like to transfer my probation from Calif. to Oreagon. Can the transfer be done right away, or is this a timely process?

It depends upon how busy your probation officer currently is. You need his or her permission to make a transfer. Most of the time, the Court does not care. However, sometimes the judge will not permit the transfer. If you run into this problem, you will need an attorney.
