Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

out of state tickets

I was involved with a verry abusive man. I was in a horrible situation,I had 1 child and was pregnant with my abusers child.I had a verry bad car and ended up with many tickets I could not pay for. I had to leave the state for fear for mine and my childrens life. I now find myself in the situation where I have tickets here. I cannot get my license without going bact to the state where my sons father lives, but I am hiding from him. Is there any way to take care of this in the state I am in now? I have a good job and could not leave even if I knew he was not looking for us.Please Help If You Can. Thank You

Re: out of state tickets

Contact the DMV in the state you left. Get a list of the warrants that have been issued. If you pay the amount of bail set by the court, this get the ticket off of your record. When paying the ticket.

In the alternative you could hire an attorney to appear in court for you and arrange to pay the ticket.
