State to State travel during investigation

Is it possible for someone awaiting trial for a felony to travel state to state? Is there some sort of form or request that can be made? Family reunion scheduled. Very important.

Your question suggests that there is actually a case pending, although your reference line indicates it's only an ongoing investigation.

If you are already charged and released on bail, you will probably need leave of court to legally go. If you are released OR and have never been advised not to leave the jurisdiction, then you are free to go, so long as you return to court as ordered.

Basically, a person is released from bail because they are not a high flight risk. But the authorities may find it suspicious. I recommend that you consult with your attorney on this matter so that he can advise you properly.
