What is the statute of limitaions in california for embezzelement. The crime has already been discovered and under investigation, when will time run out for charges to be brought. Do I need to be notified of charges to be charged.

Seven years is the statute of limitations. You do not need to be notified of pending charges, only a criminal complaint must be filed within th period.
