To answer that question, without knowing more, may be malpractice. You need to speak to a qualified attorney ASAP and go through all the facts of your case, your background, and the exact nature of the proposed disposition, before I, or any qualified criminal defense attorney, can or should answer that question. Feel free to call me at 661-2671313 for a free consultation over the phone so I can know more about you matter and give you my advice. I look forward to speaking with you....David Wallin

Interesting that they are charging you with a felony. Did you by any chance fight with the security guard?

Like Mr. Wallin suggested, find an attorney in your area and discuss your case with him/her. This sounds serious.

Giving you that kind of advise in this type of open forum with the facts you have supplied is a recipe for disaster. In this type of situation, you must discuss the matter with an attorney and explain what happened and answer all their questions completely and honestly before any kind of determination can be made as to your best course of action. Any time someone is charged with a felony it is a serious matter. I also believe that any charges, misdemeanor or felony charges involving theft crimes are extremely serious since they involve a crime of moral turpitude. So I strongly urge you to see an attorney and explain the entire situation and get some good sound legal advise based on your specific situation.

Good Luck,

Brian McGinity
