Striking Probation
Do you have case law on the striking of probation (non-reporting type, individual still, and just on probation) in a misdeanor case?

I'm sure there is some authority in black letter law, or some case law interpreting black letter law concerning removing the onerous burden of being on informal probation.
However, the court might give it some favorable attention if you'd have a good reason for it. So why don't you spend some time thinking up why you can't be burdened with doing nothing but staying out of trouble. The judge might honor your request to reward you for your initiative and inventiveness. Look at the CEB book on Criminal Law available at your local law libraty.
