Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Submitting and writing documents for in pro per
My boyfriend is in jail and we are trying to file a motion for reconsideration. His previous attorney photo copied a page out a book showing me what the document should look like. However, is there anything that I need to make sure is correct. What do the numbers on the side of the page mean? And once I have the paper complete -- where do I file it? The case originates from Van Nuys Superior cout.
Thank you for your help.

You need a lot more help than you can get over the internet. If you cannot afford to hire an attorney your boyfriend needs to request that the public defender be appointed to assist him
