being subpoena
I am the victim a court case and have a subpoena. What happens if I don't show up?

The Judge could issue a "body attachment" for you. It is similar to an arrest warrant and if you encounter the police, they could take you to jail and hold you there until the Court date.

The court will issue a bench warrant and will send deputies or marshalls to find you. When they find you they will bring you to the courtroom, by force if necessary. You will then have to testify.

Maybe nothing will happen and the defendant will get off. Then you can go back to being a victim.
