Re: suing

Absolutely

The law is like a three barrel gun. There is the criminal barrel - juvenile court. The civil barrel - small claims court. And the administrative barrel - DMV. DMV could take away your license to operate a car. (Or any other administrative agency that may be involved could take away any other license you may hold.)

Then when they get done with the criminal matter. You can be placed on probation. And if you violate the terms and conditions of the probation they can have a hearing with out a jury. And put you in jail on evidence that a jury might find you not guilty on. As an explanation they can have a trial on a second offense and the jury can find you not guilty. Then the judge thanks and excuses the jury, and finds you guilty of a probation violation and puts you in jail.

Wake up and grow up. It's tough in the real criminal world. The expression is, "If you're afraid to do the time. Then don't do the crime." It's always worked for me.
