Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

really need to know

i'm on summery probation and have a new case for the same situation... my bail for the new case is set at $100,000 but no bail is set for violation of probation as well... i'm turning my self in with my lawyer on monday and have a bail bods set up... my lawyer has not given me an answer, but do i still have a chance to be released?

This will depend on the underlying offense. Given the amount of your bail, the underlying offense must be rather serious. The fact that this is also a probation violation for the same offense as the one for which probation was granted, means that your bail might possibly even be increased at the hearing. It is possible that you won't be taken in depending on the judge. However, be prepared for the alternative.
