Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
taking a business trip to California where I will be staying with family and leaving before my co-workers and boss. my boss wants me to reserve the hotel room for him under my name, check in before he arrives, and then meet him when he arrives from the airport and give him the key so he doesn't have to wait in line for check-in, etc...
Is this legal? Would I be committing fraud of some kind since I will not be using the room?

Assuming you trust him not to trash the room or order $1000 worth of room service, sounds reasonably normal to me. If you don't, you probably shouldn't be working for him.
