Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Hi can you please help me because i don't know who else to talk to , I'm currently on CYA parole now i got out in 2009 July I forget if i was suppose to be on for 2 or 3 years parole this July is going to be my 3rd year now but then until now i have NOT got in to any arrest or violation ,no dirty bottles , also finished all of my programs and paid my restitution already, i just moved in to my girlfriend dad house and i know moving is stressful with me having a baby on the way and the reason i have to move because the mom wants a abortion, i end up not letting my new parole officer know on time like two days late i totally forgot to let him know BEFORE i moved thinking it was okay for me to inform him after because i did not have a chance to. I than talked to him on the phone and he ask who gave me permission ? i was clueless until he reminded me so i was suppose to meet him out side the mobile home residents so i waited for him for over an hour i didn't have a phone because me and her share phone and car ,so i end up using my gf dad cell to call he said i was suppose to call him but he clearly told me to wait for him than he told me hes going to be on his way ended up waiting for 5 hours and he still didn't show up and also in between those hours i called him he told me hes on his way everytime the last call was that i told him i spend my whole day off waiting for you he said that's good you should wait now you know how it feels for making me wait and said he was on this street that was 5 minutes away which he never came.
Today morning he left a message stating that i am clearly avoiding his calls and if i don't call him back before 5pm hes going to put out a warrant for my arrest, i called him back saying i don't always have the phone on me all the time he said what happen last night i told him i had to pick my gf up from work and go see my grandma he said so that's more important than your liberty? than saying i play games with him and he does not want to hear my BS when i tried to explain to him he told me hes going to violate me for not letting him know that i moved ,i told him about how am i playing games when yesterday your the one who made me wait 5 hours for something i didn't mean to do because i also have my own life and things to do why cant he understand its not like a whole day gone by that i never call him back before. i need help is there any thing i can do because i think this July im off and i do not want any other problems and just do my parole and get off ,please help me your comment would be very appreciated.

Prepare to go back. You need the time to learn explanations are not the same as keeping your word. Having a story "HERE'S WHY I DID NOT KEEP MY WORD" is NOT the same as keeping your word. The parole officer will hate your line of "Poor me!!!" BS.
When you get out, get some therapy aimed at making you a more responsible person. Promises must be kept, especially to the Parole officer because he is the face OF THE COURT!!! Fun exercise-make a list of ten things you could have done that would have prevented this problem.THEN GO GET A LAWYER ASAP.
You need an attorney. Unfortunately, when you are out on parole you are owned by the State and the Parole Officer holds the key. You will need an attorney on this and there is no way to properly help you in this type of forum.
On Parole you can not forget to tell your PO something. It really does not matter what the reason is or that with a new baby on the way you didn't have a chance to speak with him or whatever the excuse. Parole officers hear every reason in the book why something went wrong. The only thing you can do is hire an attorney. The attorney needs to get pro-active and talk to your PO and see if something can be worked out.
Good luck
