Re: tattoo
Good Afternoon,
Under California Penal Code section 653, any person who tattoos or offers to tattoo a person under the age of 18 is guilty of a misdemeanor.
Misdemeanors are punishable by up to one year imprisonment in county jail and/or a fine. This is the maximum penalty, however, and your attorney will likely work to get a better deal or fight the case at trial.
Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions regarding Penal Code 653.
Regards,
Solomon Chang
