Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Telephone Tap Laws
I have a client that would like to know where to obtain a copy of the California Statute regarding telephone tapping. IE: violation information, consequenses, etc. Also how this topic might become a federal violation if calls are made from state to state. Your timely resonse is much appreciated.

Check Californai Penal code section 630 et seq regarding tapping telephone and telegraph lines.
As for the federal chceck the federal codes.
