My friend just got put in prison for 10 years,for these charges C001 PC 246 FEL

C002 PC 186.22(A) FEL

C001 PC 192(C)(2) MIS

All these charges that I have looked up, he should be getting less than 10 years, and I just wanted more clarification if possible ? Thanks

The maximum sentence for PC 246 is 7 years. The mid term for the 186.22(a) is 2 years and 1/3 is 8 months. The mid term of the 192(c)(2) is six years. One third is 2 years. The total is 9 years 8 months. There may have also been an enchancement such as using a firearm that wouldl increase the sentence.
