Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

did time in 1996 for evading, court cant find information, driver safety has it as DUI?, yes, a question mark...license is suspended until i complete hasp program. hasp is not required for evading its a alcohol and substence use program.how do i get this taken care of? Judge, DA and my public defender just shrug their shoulders and wish it away.

Contrary to popular belief, attorneys do not go into court and say magic words. I don't know what it is that you want us to tell you.

I don't understand what you mean by stating that the court can't find the information. Do you mean that they have lost the file?

You need to find the file, or have the court clerks find the file. You need to find out what the sentence is. Then you need to comply with the sentence. This isn't anything different than what we would do as attorneys.
