Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Time served
If you are already serving time for a crime and another charge comes about while you are serving your time can you run the new charge concurrent with the time you are already serving? If so what is the code for that?

Thank you for your posting.
Credits accrued for another case are never automatically applied to a new case. However, as part of a plea bargain negotiation, some prosecutors or some judges often give credits for both cases, or run time concurrent, on a case.
