Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Today (7/28/09) my aunt had went to court and she got charged wit possession of cannabis under an ounce this was here first offense she was also fined 430 dollars i looked on the internet on many different search engines and it says that she should be only fined up to 100 dollars. Im really confused about what she got fined with how should i go about this

The case is over, and she lost. The extra $330 is called a "penalty assessment." Next time consult a lawyer -before- going to court.
