Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Typical jail or prison sentence for check fraud.

My dad was recently charged with check fraud. He's at a county jail right now awaiting trial. He will probably be found guilty. What's the typical jail or prison sentence? I think the check was over 9000 dollars. I think he tried to cash the check or get credit for it at a casino. The casino reported him after the check bounced. He was pulled over by the cops for speeding. When they checked his background, they found he was wanted. I'm not sure about all the details. Please respond ASAP. Thank you.

Re: Typical jail or prison sentence for check fraud.

Depending upon his criminal history and other factors the sentence could be any where from county jail to 3-5 years in jail. However is he has one or two strike criminal priors, his sentence could be greatly longer.
