Re: unauthorized use of bank card

Don't Do Stuff Verbally (sm).

Follow up by writing a letter to the bank, certified mail return receipt requested, confirming your phone call and demanding a credit.

In most instances I believe when the card has been used without your consent the bank takes the loss not you the loss. you need to contact the bank and speak to the supervisor. You may need to contact law office for legal advice please contact the law offices of David M. Wallin @ www.WallinLaw.com for additional insight.

Re: unauthorized use of bank card

You will need to file a claim with your credit card company. They will provide you a claim form which you will need to fill out and sign. Depending on the amount of the unauthorized charge(s), they may or may not investigate. Regardless, you should be able to get reimbursed fairly quickly. You should also contact law enforcement and report the theft as soon as possible.
