Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I am unfortunately an undocumented alien I have lived in the US for over 20 years. I had a drivers license until early 2000 when they stop issuing license. I have my own business cleaning many large chain restaurants. So I need to drive, I have been driving will an expire license. About a month ago I received a ticket for turning on red, I went to court to pay my ticket and they told me I had to see the judge. I went to see the judge and he suspended my license for TWO YEARS. I could not believe it I feel that is cruel and unusual punishments. Can I go to court and try to get that ruling overturned or reduced.
