Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
validity
If one received court papers in the mail and does not think they are real, how does one go about checking out the validity of them. On court papers, does the court seal make it valid? Does the court clerk signature have to be on there? Judges signature? Thank you

Re: validity
Call the court. Read the case number to the clerk. They'll tell you the status of the case.
