Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
vandalism charge and consequences
My husband is being charged with PC594 (B) (2) and he has had 2 prison priors for drugs and automobile burglary. If he is found guilty, what will the consequences be? Should he seek an attorney?

Re: vandalism charge and consequences
Your husband would be crazy not to get an attorney given his record and exposure for a potentially long prison sentence. Only a lawyer familiar with the case would know how charges could be defended. If he cannot afford private counsel, a public defender will be appointed for him. Defending yourself in court is absolutely always a very bad idea.
