Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
If I got into a verbal altercation with somebody and I think they called the cops if something was going to happen with with me wouldn't it of already happened? It's going on 3 days

Not necessarily. If this was referred to detectives for follow up, it may take them a while to assign it, them actually work it up.
No. I know you want this to just go away. However, far too often, it just doesn't. So if you want to hope it goes away, you can....but you risk being caught off guard, and without an attorney, and therefore you are far more likely to say or do the wrong thing, and be charged with a criminal offense. you can also choose to get a lawyer, and play it safe, with a much lower chance of being charged.......You're call......I wish you well.........David
