same vicodin guy
when i go into court (w/ no lawyer) can I ask the judge what will happen to me before I plead.

It would be better to have a lawyer before accepting a deal. But, yes, respectfully tell the judge you do not understand everything, and ask him/her if she can explain what it all means and what will happen if you plead. As you are unrepresented by counsel, the judge should be extra careful to make sure you understand the plea bargain and its consequences, before accepting your "no contest" plea.
