I was hit in the face three times by my roomates 17yr old son I am a female, he fractured my nose and gave me a concussion the detective said it was a misdemeanor, I've been reading online that it is assault and battery and a Feloney. Which is true?

Assualt and battery can be charged as either a felony or a misdemeanor. The district attorney has the descretion to determine whether to charge as a felony or misdemeanor.
