Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Hello, was just walking into the front door of a store and a car kept coming at me while I was in the crosswalk, I pointed my finger at the driver and and made a noise (clicking sound).
When I left the store 2 young boys (maybe junior high age) said "hey you know its against the law to pull the trigger on someone"
I said are you kidding me?
The smaller of the 2 said " I gonna deck you"
I said "go home before you get hurt" as I was walking away back to my car, one of them threw a bottle at me and it hit me in the leg, I turned around and said "your dead" and chased after them. They split up and I stopped the chase.
I am wondering if I have done something that can come back on me?

Threatening to kill or seriously injure someone is a crime. See Penal Code section 422.
It is a "wobbler," meaning it can be charged as either a felony or a misdemeanor. A felony conviction of Penal Code 422 is a "strike" under the Three Strikes law which can be used to increase the punishment for any future felony conviction.
Have you considered an anger management class? I'm not making this suggestion flippantly. You had two separate confrontations that could lead to criminal charges during one trip to the store. You can't control the behavior of others, but you can learn to control your reactions.
