Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
If I wanted to carry a sword as a self defense weapon, could I do that Legally?
Is there special licensing for it?
If not how would I go about changing the law to make that possible?

Many types of weapons that are legal in every other state are illegal in California, and I believe this would include swords. Nobody will give you a license. If you have a spare $5 million or so, call me to discuss how you can get your proposed law on the ballot.
