Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

warrants

my boyfriend is in jail. he had two other court dates in two other countys well he missed them cuz he was in custody, they both issued warrants. how do we take care of that

The warrants will be entered into the NCIC system. Your boyfriend will more than likely get a free ride, courtesy of the county jail where he is currently incarcerated, to the county jail in the county where the most recent warrant was issued. When his case is taken care of there, he will then get another free ride courtesy of that county's jail to the next county where he is wanted.

Well, he could avoid this type of problem by committing fewer crimes in fewer counties.

The other courts will cancel the warrants as soon as he shows up with proof that he was incarcerated on his court dates.
